Board Members & Meetings
Richmond Free Library Trustees are Matt Crabb (chair), Laurie Dana (treasurer), Rafael Kennedy (secretary), Amy Wardwell, and Amy Klinger. Trustees are elected on Town Meeting Day and serve staggered 5 years terms.
Trustees meet on the 2nd Monday of the month at the library. Members of the public are invited to join Trustee meetings in person or via announced Zoom links.
To view meeting agendas and minutes, see below. Agendas and minutes older than one year are retained in hard copy and available at the circulation desk for review.
While the Richmond Free Library is a municipal department, Trustees have full authority over governance of the Library and are elected directly by the citizens of Richmond. The Selectboard does not establish Library policy or procedures, though the Library follows many Town procedures in the interest of administrative efficiency. The roles and responsibilities of the Trustees and the Selectboard are outlined in the following: Memorandum of Understanding.
