Ebooks & Audiobooks
Audiobooks and eBooks using the Libby app are available for patrons to download at GMLC OverDrive. Simply click on the “sign in” link at the top right on their homepage, select “Richmond Free Library” from the menu that appears, and enter your library card barcode in the user field and your last name as the password.
At the bottom of the GMLC OverDrive homepage, there are links to help and applications required to download to your device. We recommend downloading the Libby app. If you need additional help in navigating, this brochure may help: Libby booklet
Borrow and enjoy audiobooks, eBooks, comics, movies, TV, magazines, or music everywhere you have a screen-your computer, your phone, your car, even your TV. All you need is your library card. Hoopla syncs across all your devices, so you can stream titles immediately or whenever you’re in the mood. Most titles can also be downloaded to your phone or tablet. Hoopla offers more content, in more places, than any other digital library platform. The Library catalog indicates titles available on Hoopla or go directly to Hoopla!
We’re pleased to introduce the Palace Project App for Richmond patrons. This app has been made possible through the Vermont Department of Libraries and expands users’ access to eBooks and eAudiobooks by connecting content in an all-in-one platform. Patrons do not need to open multiple apps to borrow from the State’s digital collection, Green Mountain Library Consortium (Libby), the Digital Public Library and others. Download the Palace Project App and log in with your card number and PIN/password (the default is your last name). From there you can choose from thousands of titles to download.
