Weekly library programs for young children run from September through May and follow the MMUUSD schedule for vacation days and weather closure days. Call ahead if you are wondering about the schedule or the weather.
BABY LAPTIME - Mondays at 10:30 AM
This short, active storytime is for our youngest little book lovers and their grown ups. We’ll look at picture books, sing simple songs, do some rhyming and bouncing and sometimes get out the shakers and scarves. This program is intended for infants and early toddlers. Begins after Labor Day.
PLAYGROUP – Wednesdays from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM
The toys come out for free play with friends—both new and old! Co-sponsored by the Library and the Lund Center. Children from infancy to age five, along with their grown-ups, are invited to join the fun.
STORYTIME - Wednesdays at 10:30 AM (right after Playgroup)
Join us as we share wonderful new picture books alongside beloved classics from years past. We'll sing songs, pass out shakers and rhythm sticks, and learn some fun new rhymes and poems—all designed to keep kids engaged, entertained, and soaking up early literacy skills.
