Blue Cross Blue Shield is offering two presentations at Richmond Free Library this summer about the Medicare signup process and supplement options:
- June 5, 10am-12pm
- August 12, 1pm-3pm
A representative from Blue Cross Blue Shield will guide participants through the Medicare signup process after becoming eligible. This presentation goes over the timeframes for signing up for traditional Medicare as well as explaining the differences between Medicare Part A, B, C and D. Blue Cross Blue Shield will explain the different pathways someone can take to help mitigate the patient responsibility aspect of Medicare by either signing up for a Medicare supplement with the separate Prescription Drug Plans or by signing up for Medicare Advantage Products.
Blue Cross Blue Shield will not be going over any plans specific to BCBSVT or Vermont Blue Advantage.
