What did 65 million years of evolution turn the dinosaurs into? Birds! Come meet some live birds of prey and learn all about their dinosaur ancestry. Experts from the Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS) will help us explore the ways modern birds became masters of the air and understand the immense timescale over which these dinosaur-descendants adapted!

No registration is required. All ages are welcome.

Each year as part of the statewide Summer Reading Program, the Vermont Department of Libraries distributes grant money through the estate of the Elva S. Smith Trust in support of youth library activities. We are grateful for this funding support for this program.
